Awards at the U.Porto

The 22^nd March, the University Day, has been considered a suitable opportunity to distinguish members of the university community: staff, non-teaching staff and students and, in some cases, external figures.

The awards given by the University of Porto aim to distinguish members of the university community, and in some cases, former students, external figures or institutions.

The school awards are aimed to encourage and distinguish the best students under certain conditions governing each award. These awards are given by the University, the faculties or by institutions external to the University.

There are also awards given by the University of Porto with a view to distinguishing good practice and innovative actions.
